Metra will be adjusting the schedule on the UP-West Line beginning Monday, Sept. 8, adding stops to weekday off-peak trains and all weekend trains.
Under the old schedule, weekday evening off-peak trains skipped the Kedzie Station. With the new schedule, inbound trains 66 through 72 will add a stop at Kedzie and weekday outbound trains 65 through 11 will do the same. On the weekends, all trains will now stop at the Kedzie, Maywood, and Melrose Park stations.
The additional stops will result in minor adjustments to arrival and departure times at some stations. A copy of the new schedule can be viewed here.
Metra’s goal with its schedule changes is to accommodate the needs of our current riders and make the service a more attractive option for all travelers.
