Assistant Deputy Executive Director, Administration
Mr. Stuebner was named Assistant Deputy Executive Director, Administration in April 2022. He is responsible for oversight of Metra’s Administration team, which provides support through Procurement, Real Estate, Railroad Contract Management, Labor Relations, and more.
He has worked with Metra for 15 years, as a contract clerk, attorney, and manager. In his various roles, he has provided support for all facets of the organization.
Mr. Stuebner earned a Bachelor of Arts from Western Illinois University, a Juris Doctor from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, and a Certificate in Public Management from the Stuart School of Business. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2009. He graduated from Leadership APTA in 2018, and he was named a “Fast Tracker” in the February 2022 edition of Railway Age. Most importantly, he is married with one child.
