Director
Mimi L. Rodman was appointed to the Metra Board of Directors in April 2023 by the suburban members of the Cook County Board.
Ms. Rodman is the President of Chicago Union Cares, a nonprofit focused on using the power of sport to help youth reach their full potential. She has served on several boards of directors and is on the Illinois Advisory Committee of the US Global Leadership Coalition.
She is the former Executive Director of Stand for Children Illinois, an organization fighting for education equity and racial justice. Ms. Rodman has also been Senior Legal Counsel at Tribune Company and was a Partner at the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis.
Ms. Rodman holds a B.A. with honors in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and received a Juris Doctor with honors from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
She is married with two adult children.
