Citizens Advisory Board Member
Bruce C. Nelson is a transportation management professional with more than 39 years of experience in bus and rail transit operations providing him with an understanding of the evolving needs of public transportation and the ability to identify needed improvements and develop and implement successful action plans.
He is a lifelong resident of Northeast Illinois and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has also earned numerous certifications from programs facilitated by the Federal Transit Administration and the United States Department of Transportation Safety Institute.
